UNDERSTANDING THE TECHNOLOGY

WHAT IS GRAPHENE?

Discovered at the University of Manchester in 2004, graphene is an allotrope of carbon. At its simplest form, graphene is the lightest, strongest, thinnest, best heat-and-electricity-conducting material discovered to date. The uniqueness of this material is due to its atomic structure – a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal lattice. As such, graphene was awarded the Nobel Prize in 2010. However, graphene does not naturally form.

With our proprietary formulations, process methodology and technology, we produce graphene conductive heat laminated films and coatings that manage thermal conductivity and well as thermal shielding protection.

Graphene has the ability to enhance certain properties within polymers that are unique to other commercially available carbon-based materials.
